Nylsvley is a 1200ha privately owned game and cattle farm, named Vlakpan, nestled in Limpopo Province – South Africa’s northernmost province with its rich wildlife, spectacular scenery and wealth of historical and cultural treasures.

Nylsvley Retreat is situated near Naboomspruit in the beautiful Waterberg area of Limpopo. The farm is only 160 km from Pretoria and 20 km from Naboomspruit (Mookgopong).

The farm provides habitat to many game species like kudu, duiker, impala, reedbuck, red hartebeest, waterbuck, warthog and an abundance of bird life. The owner is running a big Bonsmara stud on the farm as well.

The farm Vlakpan forms part of South-Africa’s flood- plain, namely: The Nyl River Flood-plain that stretches over 70 km. In raining season the floodplain can get up to 7 km wide and about 16 000ha are under water.

Nylsvley Retreat is an elegant and peaceful breakaway where guests can enjoy the tranquility of the bush.
